Having a teenager is like being on a roller coaster ride – fun, scary, exhilarating and hardly ever predictable. Most parents are just as freaked out as their teens when it comes to adolescence. For most of us it seems an eternity ago that we were a teenager - how on earth do we relate to one? Relax, there’s hope.

As parents you have a vital role to play in your teen’s life: teens still need parents, remember. Maybe the one constant thing about being the parent of a teen is that teens are continually changing – physically, mentally, socially, and definitely emotionally.
