mainly music

mainly music is a fun, interactive music session where children and their parents together can enjoy music, movement, interaction, listening and more. mainly music is a structured session but the focus is on the interaction between parent and child. The amazing thing is that learning takes place – fine motor skills, counting, language, and imagination to name a few skills.

Each week pre-schoolers and their caregivers come along for thirty minutes of a fun, interactive music session. Adults’ participation is vital in the session as it encourages the children to participate and it builds memories as special time is shared together. After the session there is morning or afternoon tea and playtime. This time allows for children to enjoy each others company and for adults to have some grown up time. Each mainly music is associated with and run by volunteers from a local church.
